***"Heart of Gold" **** Auditions *** Read further for more details
****"Lend Me A Tenor" ***Read further*** First performance a Great success.
Post Production meeting was held in January 9th Mostly good comments about the whole production. The set although great looking and held up well under the humourous episodesduring the play, the six doors and all the walls were a lot of work constructing and errecting. The audiences seemed to really enjoy the play and only good comments were overheard. A job well done by everyone
Take Down Moving Day Sunday 27th November
The audiences were treated to three successful performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of "Lend Me a Tenor". On Sunday the final act was played out as the Set had to be taken down and returned to the Station.
Many hands and feet make less steps; A lots of members attended the take down and move of the set back to the Station.
To all members: "A JOB WELL DONE".
The list of Cast Members were:
Max- Paul Charette; Maggie - Julie Verville; Saunders - Steph Lefebvre; Tito - Mike Lepine;
Maria - Lil lachance; Bellhop - Catarina Ciccone; Diana - Ginette Mongeon; Julia - Liz Walsh.
The play was be held at THVS on Nov. 24, 25, 26.
Tickets were available at Dailey's Independent Grocers, Shoppers Drug Mart Algonquin Blvd, McDonald's Pharmacy, Alfies Cigar and Gourmet Coffee Bar, and Timmins Square Information Booth. Advance tickets $15.00. At the door $18.00
Opening General Meeting:
Our Opening General meeting took place at the Station on Tuesday 20th September 2011 at 7:00 PM. It was well attended. The executive enlightened the members of the projects for the coming year in theatre in Timmins. There are plans for a Fall Play Lend Me a Tenor Directed by Paula Aiello. Play will be at TH&VS on November 24, 25, 26.

Heart of Gold or Timmins Symphony Orchestra & Chorus Ticket Info
Take Two Theatre is pleased to be affiliated with this project a Musical “Heart of Gold” along with the Timmins Symphony Orchestra.
This musical, created in honour of Timmins 100th Anniversary, will celebrate the people and dreams of the Porcupine 1911, with romance, intrigue, adventure and song.
Take Two Theatre member, Laureen Kuhl writer, is working alongside local composer Luc Martin to create this original musical. Selected songs were performed with the Timmins Symphony Orchestra May 2011 with the premier production in Spring 2012.

****Actor Auditions ****
Director Laureen Kuhl is looking for male and female actors aged 10 and up to participate in a musical production depicting the story of Timmins around the time of the Great Fire.
Auditions were held on Sunday November 6th 1PM – 5PM in the Gallery Building BEHIND the Shania Twain Centre.
Successful auditionees will be required to rehearse Tuesday evenings December to January with increased rehearsals February to June depending on the size of the role. The show will run June 7,8,9, 15, 16, 2012 in the Charles Fournier Auditorium Theriault
*****Dancer Auditions:****
Director Laureen Kuhl is looking for male and female dancers aged 10 and up to participate in a number of scenes depicting the story of Timmins around the time of the Great Fire. Dancers must have previous experience.
Auditions were held Sunday November 27th 1PM – 5PM in the Gallery Building BEHIND the Shania Twain Centre.
Successful dancers will be required to rehearse on Sunday afternoons starting in January. The show will run June 7,8,9, 15, 16, 2012 in the Charles Fournier Auditorium Theriault.
Director Laureen Kuhl has selected Choreographer Natalie Picard-Cavalieri to work with dancers.

Our musical directors are looking at options for our next musical production. As always our musicals bring all our people together on and off the stage, and always bring in new members to join the fun, as we entertain Timmins audiences.
As we go along during our 25th/26th year, we look forward to the upcoming plays bringing our members together to enjoy another successful year.
